Maria Teresa Leonetti
MARIA TERESA LEONETTI is an Italian soloist singer-songwriter and a booking agent. She attended the faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bologna, where she studied French and English. In 2006 she moved to France, in Strasbourg, to work for one-year European project. Then she came back in Italy, in the city of Florence, where she studied classical and modern vocal technique. She can sing in different languages mainly in French, Italian and also English, Spanish, Portuguese, Jewish and Yiddish.
In 2013 she started the study of Jewish traditional songs (in Jewish and Yiddish), performing with the Israeli clarinetist Amit Arieli and other musicians in different locations (Teatro Alfieri of Asti, Macro Museum of Rome, Pitigliano and Florence Synagogue).
In 2015 she founded, with the jazz pianist and composer Manuel Iori, the Fil Rouge Quintet, a jazz-world music group, for the first
time as author and singer in French and Italian languages.
Over the last years she worked as a booker of her own jazz band and other artists, also collaborating with Musicastrada agency, based in Tuscany. She participated at the last 3 editions of WOMEX fair.
Currently works with TRAVEL MUSIC AGENCY based in Luxembourg promoting Italian jazz, folk and world music artists.
Paolo Travelli
PAOLO TRAVELLI, is a Florentine living in Luxembourg, that has always been passionately interested in music. He splits his time between journalism and the radio speaking and music promoting activities.
He collaborated with important radio broadcasters like Radio Fata Morgana in Florence, Italy, and since 2001 with RGL LUXEMBOURG in which he created “Esperienze Sonore”, a radio program dedicated to the best Italian and foreign independent productions and he interviewed different contemporary music protagonists.
Since 2008 he started working as radio director and music advisor of “VoicesByPassaParola”, a radio program in Italian language for the Luxemburgish radio station called RADIO ARA (www.radioara.lu).
Concerning journalism, he is the radio host of “Onde Sonore”, a feature of the Italian monthly magazine “PassaParola Magazine”, published in Luxembourg and France, where he interviewed, among many, artists like Stefano Bollani, Paolo Conte, Gianna Nannini, Franco Battiato.
He organizes conferences and workshops about music and radio and he works as music advisor for clubs and theatres; as promoter and tour manager he organized different concerts in important venues for some italian artists: Lucilla Galeazzi, Gianluca Petrella, Modena City Ramblers, Nidi d’Arac, Fabi-Silvestri-Gazzé, Almamegretta.
