Appreciated and encouraged by David Byrne, who has often aired her songs in his radio playlists of favorites, she is equally at
home in a rock format as well as in a modern-contemporary concert setting.
She has also recomposed a piece by John Cage transforming it into a voice/piano song, Roses of the Day, which is published
worldwide by Edition Peters (John Cage’s publisher) with the double name Cage/Petrina.
The song is included in the eponimous album published by Paolo Fresu, one of the most important Italian musicians.
She has collaborated with David Byrne, John Parish, Elliott Sharp, Jherek Bischoff, Mike Sarin, Nicholas Isherwood, Paolo Fresu, Mario Brunello, Sylvano Bussotti, Tiziano Scarpa, Roberto Citran, performing in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington, Istanbul, Addis Abeba, London, Berlin, Koln, Madrid, Strasbourg, Tokyo and Osaka.
