“Jazzed-Up! Duo” is the smallest formation of the “Jazzed-Up!” family: a pocket size project born out of the meeting of two Apulian musicians (Gabriele Mastropasqua and Antonio Simone) in the hallways of “Siena Jazz University.” The result is fresh music, fruit of contamination between historic rhythms and innovative sound. The duo intends, in fact, to reminisce everyday life events through musicality and improv skills learned throughout the years. Polyrhythms, polymeters, harmonic and melodic variety are all essential ingredients of this duo’s enthusing product. They will grace the ears of the audience members, who will immerse themselves in the musical narration, becoming part of the show itself.
